COVID-19

In this section you will find information regarding COVID-19.  Please check our website frequently for any updates or changes.  We are working in concert with our local health district and our State Licensing agency to enact guidelines to help ensure the safety of our residents while upholding their rights.  Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Thank you.

Visitation Policy

Current as of October 23rd, 2020

Unfortunately, due to Kootenai County going back in to the "Red" risk category we are suspending all visitation and outings for our residents for the time being.  Thank you for your cooperation and understanding during these uncertain times - we are hopeful that we will progress out of the "Red" status quickly so that we can resume visitation.

Entry Protocol

Current as of July 23rd, 2020

The following protocol will apply to anyone entering the facility including but not limited to staff, outside agencies, subcontractors, residents, and residents’ families and friends. Entry to Rose Terrace Cottages during a community-wide infectious disease outbreak will be allowed only so long as our State licensing agencies, local health district, and State governing agencies approve of visitation.

  • Anyone entering the facility must wear a mask.

  • Everyone will be screened upon arrival.  Screening includes but is not limited to a temperature scan and a brief questionnaire.  The results of the scan and the answers to the questionnaire will be documented.  Anyone whose temperature is above 100 degrees or who exhibits any listed symptoms will not be allowed entry.

  • Upon entry hand hygiene must be completed by either hand washing at the appropriate hand washing station or by using alcohol based hand sanitizer.

  • With the exception of staff and visiting medical professionals, guests at Rose Terrace will maintain a physical distance of 6 feet from our residents.
